Bristol Film Office has assisted all three previous series of critically acclaimed HBO/BBC banking drama Industry to part-film in Bristol, so we were delighted to welcome the production team back to shoot its latest instalment across our city.
Available now as a full box set on BBC iPlayer, Series 4 features Bristol as London, Accra and Paris. Here are some key locations to look out for:
- Wills Memorial Building: doubling perfectly for the House of Lords
- Bristol City Hall: doubling for Westminster office interiors
- Bristol Cathedral: standing in for the Houses of Parliament exteriors
- A private Redland residence: the setting for Yasmin and Henry’s London town house
- The top of Trenchard Street car park: doubling for the Ghanaian city of Accra
- Queen Square: providing the backdrop for various London streets
- Rope Walk, Wapping Wharf: setting the scene for London’s Embankment at sunset
- A private Bristol residence: the flat where Whitney is living when Harper visits him
- The Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel Bar: doubling for the reception of a Parisian hotel
Tim Faulkner, Location Manager, says: “Bristol offered us many different locations, doubling for London and different countries, all of which worked well for the Industry story. As always, the invaluable input from the Bristol Film Office, their ‘one stop shop’ approach, hard work and time on set with us enabled the location team to manage the locations effectively.”
