Bristol Cathedral

Located on College Green close to the floating harbour, Bristol Cathedral is one of the finest examples of a ‘Hall Church’ in the world.

Dating back to 1148 when an abbey was first founded on the site, its magnificent features vaulted ceilings that create a spacious, light interior that lends itself well to filming.

Bristol Cathedral has hosted a range of dramas over the years that have utilised its impressive interior and exterior architecture, including Wolf Hall (BBC), The White Princess (Starz) and 1978 horror-thriller The Medusa Touch starring Richard Burton.
