Bristol Filming Partnership

The Bristol Filming Partnership has been established to bring organisations that regularly work with productions together and offer a positive, citywide approach to filming enquiries. The partnership is a collaboration of businesses and organisations that have pledged their commitment to providing production companies with a positive filming experience and an efficient service.

Filming Charter

Bristol City Council signed off a Filming Charter in November 2009, a dedication by all departments in the local authority to support film and television production. The Bristol Film Office as the team within the local authority for production acts as the key contact for all productions in the city, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free service.

Bristol-BBC-Anchor Collaboration

On 8th October 2009 Bristol became the first city to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the BBC to help ensure Bristol remains at the forefront of digital media production. The 3 year agreement commits the BBC in partnership with Bristol City Council and other key bodies such as South West RDA and South West Screen, to work with local agencies to boost TV production and filmmaking, tackling the digital divide, digital skills and media literacy.
